The event will be triple celebration for Wellington:

  • 40th anniversary of Multicultural Council of Wellington

  • 28th birthday of Te Papa

  • Chinese New Year - Year of the Horse


Come and celebrate the rich cultural tapestry that makes Wellington special at the Multicultural Festival and CNY Gala. This free event will showcase 20 performances (tbc) representing cultures from all over the world, featuring incredible multicultural communities and local talent from the wider Wellington region. 

Unite, celebrate, and embrace Wellington’s diverse cultures.
