Asian Events Trust Addresses Coronavirus Concerns

Asian Events Trust (AET) would like to address the concerns surrounding the festival this weekend (1-2 February 2020) and the Coronavirus outbreak in China.

We acknowledge and understand these concerns, but at this stage the festival will proceed.

We have also been in communication with the China Cultural Centre regrading our international acrobatic group, Chongqing Longjiang Arts Troupe. The group have been in New Zealand for the last week and have a clean bill of health, with no concerns. 

We will be monitoring the situation closely and will post any further updates.
