A five-hour cultural extravaganza of showcasing the diversity of the talents of Wellington’s community groups. Headlining the 2025 programme is the traditional art of face-changing as TSB Arena’s stage will be lit up with a captivating programme of song, dance and music – a visual feast of traditional and contemporary performances. 

Our cultural showcase offers something for everyone - the elegance of classical dance to exhilarating display of martial arts, contemporary and hip hop dance, melodic sounds of guzheng instrumentalists and the powerful beating drums of percussionists, pop singers  and Chinese Opera performers.

To mark the Year of the Wood Snake, the cultural entertainment programme will open with Echoes of ‘65, a series of performances inspired by events and music of 1965, the last year of the Wood Snake. This will be followed by community group performances.
